Registration opens August 11th! We are excited to announce our studies starting this Fall for Walking With Purpose! We pray and hope that you will be able to join us for all or part of our plans for this year!
Opening Your Heart: This is a 22 week foundational study that really touches on discovering and embracing our identity as a true daughter of God, and diving into the beauty of many different facets of our faith. If last year was your first year participating, we encourage you to sign up for this engaging study that will help you !
For our returning participants who have already completed the Opening Your Heart (OYH) study, we will have two shorter studies that will run in tandem with OYH. In the Fall the study will be Passionate Discipleship (9 weeks), and in the Spring we will study Reclaiming Friendship (8 weeks). December 30th, 2024: Merry Christmas! Just a reminder that we will resume meeting on January 7th! We will be discussing Esther (Lesson 14) during a Connect Coffee, no prep is needed! Looking forward to seeing you all there!
If you are interested in joining, or just coming on the 7th, we would love to have you! Just show up, we will have a copy of the lesson, some delicious food, and a seat ready for you!

August 14, 2024: Registration for Walking With Purpose is now OPEN! This year we will offer only one study, Discovering Our Dignity, a study of the women of the Bible. Here are some frequently asked questions about WWP!
Who is this study for? All women ages 18 and older- you do not need to attend St. Mary, or even be Catholic, to participate in this study.
When is this study? This study begins on September 12th, 2024, and will meet on most Tuesdays (calendar will be posted here soon!). It is 22 weeks long, we will end in early March. There are two session times to choose from: Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 a.m., or Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Where do I go? We meet in the Knights Hall to begin the evening with refreshments and prayer, and then split into our small groups to discuss the lesson.
How much does it cost to participate? The cost to each woman is $30, payable here, or by cash/check at the beginning of the study. This goes to help defray the costs of the program...refreshments, child care, paper copies and supplies! You are also responsible for buying your own study guide, which can be purchased from the Walking With Purpose website (or you can click here to go directly there). What if I want to participate but the cost is too much? Please indicate when you sign up that you'd like financial assistance, and one of the coordinators will reach out to you to see how we can help...either defraying the costs somewhat or possibly spreading out/delaying the payment. Please don't let the cost be the reason you don't participate!
Is there any preparation needed? The first week, just come with your study guide and your Bible. After that, there will be lessons to complete in advance which will be discussed the following week. You are not banned from coming if you don't complete the lesson! Life happens and we all know that! :-) The more you put into the study, the more fruitful and interesting your small group discussions will be!
I have kids. What about them? We provide free childcare during the study sessions. They are down the hall in Room 114 with Virtus-trained sitters who are kind, attentive, energetic. Snacks and activities are provided for the children-please sign up when you register as space fills quickly!

March 20, 2024: Walking With Purpose is offering a weekend retreat called "Flourish" in Dallas November 1st-3rd, 2024! Click here to learn more and to register! If you sign up, please let Kate know-maybe we can carpool down there!
December 1, 2023: This year (2023-2024)we are offering two studies: Opening Your Heart (our foundational study) and Grounded in Hope. There are two meeting times to choose from, Tuesday mornings 9:30-11:00 a.m. or Tuesday evenings 7:00-8:30 p.m. Currently we are on a break for the holidays, but we will start up again on January 16th.
JUST KIDDING. Due to the weather and St. Mary canceling school, WWP has been canceled for tomorrow (January 16th). We will meet again on Tuesday, January 23rd and cover lesson 10 for Grounded in Hope, and lesson 13 for Opening Your Heart. Stay warm!
Don't want to wait that long? There will be two Coffee Talks that all women are welcome to attend, no advance preparation required. They are December 5th and January 9th from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Knights Hall. Babysitting will be provided. Let us know you're coming! We are excited to see you!
