Welcome to our Parish School of Religion (PSR) program!
PSR is a vibrant and enriching educational experience designed to foster the spiritual growth of children in our community. At St. Mary, we recognize the importance of providing quality religious education for students attending public schools or being homeschooled.
Our PSR program, tailored for students in grades K-5, goes beyond the traditional classroom setting. Led by dedicated and passionate volunteer catechists, our curriculum covers a comprehensive range of topics, including Catholic doctrine, scripture, sacraments, and moral teachings. We strive to create a nurturing environment where students can deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and develop a personal relationship with God.
One of the highlights of our PSR program is the preparation for sacraments, such as First Reconciliation and First Communion. These milestones mark significant steps in a child's spiritual journey, and our program is designed to guide and support them through these important moments.
We welcome all parishioners aged 18 and older who are VIRTUS trained to consider becoming a part of our PSR community as catechists or aides. Your involvement is not only an opportunity to share your faith but also to play a vital role in shaping the spiritual foundation of the next generation. Fill out the form here to get involved!
